Working closely with the architects and the contractors, the structural engineering task was significant, therefore early engagement with the building contractor was essential to achieve a very tight programme.  This house was subjected to total refurbishment throughout and required comprehensive structural analysis to ensure sequencing of works provided speed and safety.

The basement excavation, wall removals, large span openings, and rear extension was all completed very quickly.
