The project involved the construction of two new-build houses on land located to the rear of existing residential properties in Richmond. The site presented challenging ground conditions and was contaminated with Japanese Knotweed. A highly efficient and sustainable timber frame construction method was chosen, tailored to accommodate the limited skill set of the already appointed building contractor. The design also featured extensive use of glass screening and glass balustrades throughout, enhancing the modern aesthetic and maximising natural light.
