redington road

Updated: Oct 20

This modern residential building was constructed using a steel frame structure, providing exceptional strength, flexibility, and support for multiple floors of contemporary living spaces. The floors utilise a metal deck slab system—a combination of steel decking and concrete—offering a lightweight, durable, and cost-effective flooring solution. The external cladding features insulated blockwork, designed to meet modern thermal insulation standards while enhancing the building's aesthetic appeal.  Given the challenging ground conditions characterised by shrinkable clay, a robust pile raft foundation was implemented. This foundation is connected to a contiguous reinforced concrete retaining wall, ensuring long-term stability and structural integrity.

The project’s contemporary architectural design required seamless collaboration between multiple disciplines, delivering both aesthetic innovation and functional excellence.
